FOR SMALL WEB & DESIGN STUDIOS

One more thing.
One clear
agreement.

The extra page. The new integration. The “tiny” revision.
Turn the extra ask into a clear change proposal —
before it becomes your evening.

01 / FROM VAGUE TO AGREED

“Can we just…”
deserves a clear answer.

More work isn’t always the problem. Unspoken expectations are. Explore three ways to handle the same request.

THE AGREED SCOPE

A five-page website with a contact form.
No booking or payment integrations.

THE EXTRA ASK

“Can you add a booking page with our
scheduling tool before launch?”

Same request. Three reasonable next steps.

PROPOSE AN ADDITIONExample draft

“Happy to add this. The booking page and scheduling setup sit outside our agreed five-page scope. I’ll send a separate estimate and revised delivery date for your approval before we start.”

A scripted preview of the proposed workflow. No AI analysis or client approval is performed here.

02 / A SMALLER, CALMER WORKFLOW

The brief between
the ask and the work.

We’re exploring a focused tool for the moment a project changes. No new project management system. Just a clearer conversation.

  1. 01 / THE CONTEXT

Bring the scope and the ask.

Start with your agreed deliverables and the client’s new request. The planned first version uses text you choose to paste.

  2. 02 / THE TRADE-OFF

    Choose a way forward.

Review what’s changing, then decide whether to add a fee, trade a deliverable, or move the request to a later phase.

  3. 03 / THE AGREEMENT

    Make it easy to discuss.

Our goal: a concise proposal with the scope, price and timing you set, ready to share through your existing client channel.

This is the proposed product direction. Features and launch timing are still being validated.

03 / HELP SHAPE WHAT COMES NEXT

Less “just one more.”
More on the same page.

THE SMALL PRINT, IN PLAIN WORDS

A few good questions.

Can I use ChangeBrief today?

Not yet. This page is testing interest in the idea. The example above is scripted, and joining the waitlist doesn’t create an account or give access to a working product.

Is this another project management tool?

We’re focusing on one handoff: turning an extra client request into a clear proposal. The goal is to fit alongside the tools you already use, rather than move your projects into a new system.

Will you connect to my inbox or client tools?

This waitlist requests no access to those tools. For the proposed first version, we’re exploring a paste-in workflow: you choose what text to share. Please don’t submit client documents or confidential project details through this form.

What will it cost?

Pricing is still being researched. Joining the list is free and creates no purchase commitment. Any future paid offer will have its own clear pricing and opt-in.

Who’s behind it?

ChangeBrief is a product experiment by Syrlabs. We’re validating the needs of small web and design studios before building the full workflow. Questions or signup removal requests: wsjzs@hotmail.com.
